Year 5

Welcome to the Year 5 page of the school website.\r\n\r\nThe huge aim of this year is to be more reasonable and as a consequence better prepared to face whatever comes our way in the future.\r\n\r\nTo achieve this aim we are digging deep into our thoughts and the way we think, particularly the lazy thoughts and questioning those.\r\n\r\nHow are our thoughts created and most importantly, how do we know those thoughts and ways of thinking are beneficial to us and those around us?\r\n\r\nOur philosophy sessions will instigate some of this using stimulus such as the image below, however, the process of questioning our own and others’ thoughts is a lifelong skill so definitely in the school’s ‘take away’ tray!\r\n\r\nsunday_afternoon_shaun_tan
